Masterful jazz from a church studio. A unique project on vinyl.

"Cattin'" is a unique album by the group 4 Of A Kind, featuring the prominent Italian pianist Dado Moroni. The project was born out of a musical friendship between Moroni and Dutch percussionist Jeroen de Rijk. The lineup is completed by Theo de Jong on bass and Frits Landesbergen on vibraphone and drums.

The material was recorded in the year 2000 under extraordinary conditions - in a Dutch church transformed into a recording studio. Most importantly, every composition was played only once. These "first takes" perfectly capture the spontaneity, live energy, and masterful level of jazz improvisation of the entire quartet.

This copy is a limited edition release from the Goldenblack Baileo Jazz series by Polvinyl Records. The record is brand new and factory sealed (Mint / Sealed). It is pressed on solid, 180-gram vinyl and includes the original insert.
