"medicine at midnight" is the tenth studio album from the rock giants, where foo fighters decided to shift gears slightly. instead of typical anthemic ballads, we get groove, funky guitars, and rhythms that – as dave grohl himself said – you can dance to. production duties were handled by greg kurstin, known for his work with adele and sia, which is evident in the polished, spacious sound of tracks like "shame shame" or "making a fire".

we are dealing with the standard black vinyl edition, but of very high technical quality. the record was pressed at the renowned german plant schallplattenfabrik pallas gmbh (matrix 55078), which guarantees quiet vinyl and great dynamics. mastering was handled by randy merrill, and the lacquer was cut by ryan smith (rks) at the legendary sterling sound studios. the release includes the original printed inner sleeve and an insert with lyrics, both preserved in excellent condition in this copy.
