atmospheric jazz from dragon club. mist duo live.

"live dragon" captures a unique performance by the duo mist, formed by maciej pruchniewicz (guitar) and szymon siwierski (piano, clarinet). the album was recorded at the iconic dragon club in poznań, giving the recordings a specific, intimate atmosphere.

musically, it is tasteful contemporary jazz, full of space and subtle improvisation. the record is divided into eight parts (part i-viii), creating a cohesive suite. of particular note is "part iii", which is an interpretation of the famous composition by krzysztof komeda, "nim wstanie dzień". released by the independent label broda records in 2019. sound engineering was handled by bartek olszewski.
