listen, i rarely say this, but this debut is a knockout. didi hamper arrives with the album "kamieniem" (like a stone) and does it in a style reminiscent of the golden era of ewa demarczyk or edyta geppert. it’s a blend of jazz, sung poetry, and ambitious pop that just grabs your heart.

we have lyrics by didi herself, but also by polish legends: pawlikowska-jasnorzewska and przerwa-tetmajer. and the music? oskar stabno's arrangements are world-class – virtuosity without unnecessary showing off. everything serves the emotion.

technically? absolute fire. the pressing is handled by polvinyl (our black is golden), so the dynamics and space are incredible. i listened to the test press and i swear – you can hear every instrument, every breath of the vocalist so clearly, it’s like they’re in your room.
